On January 21, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of Hwy 50 and Mayflower Rd. As a result of the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert G. Duncan, 38, of Bluford, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Improper Traffic Lane Usage and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Duncan was transported to the Clay County Jail. Duncan posted bond and was released.
On January 25, Amber R. Shehorn, 40, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on a Clay County Warrant ($3,000.00 10% plus $75.00 FTA Fee) for a Failure to Appear on the original charge of Deceptive Practice. Shehorn posted bond and was released.
On January 25, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested David C. Deaton, 30, of Mill Shoals, on the original charge of Domestic Battery. Deaton was transported to the Clay County Jail. Bond was set in the amount of ($7,500.00 10%). Deaton posted bond and was released.
On January 28, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office issued citation(s) to Cash G. Kimmell, 19, of Flora, for Squealing/Screeching Tires and Improper Lane Usage following a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 45/Hwy 50 West Junction in Flora.
On January 28, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dale E. Dugan, 41, of Clay City, for the offense of Criminal Damage to Property. Dugan was transported to the Clay County Jail. Dugan was given a Notice to Appear and was released.
On January 30, Dillon L. Gordon, 26, of Flora, was arrested on a Clay County Warrant ($3,000.00 10% plus $75.00 FTA Fee) for a Failure to Appear on the original charge Child Sex Offender/Public Park. Gordon posted bond and was released.
On January 30, Kyle J. Garrett, 36, of Flora, was arrested on a Clay County Warrant ($3,000.00 10% plus $75.00 FTA Fee) for a Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving on Suspended License. Garrett posted bond and was released.
On January 31, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office issued citation(s) to Heather S. Pipkins, 43, of Louisville, for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Revoked/Suspended Registration following a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 45/Hickory Hill Lane.
On February 1, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office issued citation to Alan P. Burton, 71, of Dieterich, for Reckless Driving in the area of 1st Ave and Jonah Rd as a result to an incident that occurred on January 23, 2023.
On February 1, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael J. Landreth, 25, of Flora, on a Clay County Warrant ($3,000.00 10% plus $75.00 FTA Fee) for a Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine. Landreth posted bond and was released.
On February 1, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tanner J. Horath, 26, of Rinard, on a Clay County Warrant ($3,000.00 10% plus $75.00 FTA Fee) for a Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving on Suspended License. Horath was unable to post bond and currently in custody of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
On February 2, Clayton D. Wilson, 22, of Iuka, was arrested on a Clay County Warrant ($20,000.00 10%) on the original charge(s) for 3 counts of Aggravated Assault. Wilson posted bond and was released.
