IDNR Issues Just Three Permits This Past Week

Two in White County

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources Oil and Gas Division issued just three drilling permits for the week ending January 9.

PAMCO Oil & Gas LLC of Lakewood, Colorado has been issued a permit for a saltwater disposal well in White County. The location is Section 34, Township 05 South, Range 10 E. The name of the well is the Hill SWD #1. George Mitchell Drilling of Carmi will be the contractor. The operator will be targeting the Tar Springs formation between 2,400 and 2,450 feet.

Campbell Energy, LLC of Carmi was issued a permit for a water injection well in White County. The location is Section 31, Township 03 South, Range 11 East. The name of the well is the Green Sturm #2 WI. The operator will be targeting the Tar Springs formation between 2,348 and 2,470 feet, the St. Genevieve formation between 3,068 and 3,075 feet, the St. Louis formation between 3,179 and 3,183 feet, the Salem formation between 3,722 and 3,728 feet and the Ullin formation between 4,013 and 4,018 feet.

Illinois Exploration & Production LLC of Robinson has been issued a permit for a water injection well in Crawford County. The location is Section 20, Township 06 North, Range 12 West. The name of the well is the Bill Reinoehl #3 WI. The operator will be targeting the Spoon formation between 964 and 974 feet and the Aux Vases formation between 1,485 and 1,494 feet.
